In the bosom of the Low Tatras, in the famous Krpáčovo recreation area, Chalet Björn awaits you - a piece of Scandinavian comfort and luxury, a place where the mind and soul can relax. In the middle of the forest, far from the busy streets of the city, here you will find space for discovery and meditation.

Chalet Björn is an ideal place for a family vacation or a weekend getaway with friends. The new wooden building is ready to welcome 12 to 16 guests all year round. The wooden interior breathes clean, minimalist, Nordic simplicity and the warmth of home, which you will feel right at the entrance. The living room is the place where everyone meets. Crackling wood in the fireplace, a soft comfortable couch, table football, darts and a view of the forest through a large French window create an atmosphere like from a fairy tale. The room is connected to a modern kitchen, where there is a wooden table for a shared breakfast, quality electrical appliances and everything needed for cooking and baking.

The kitchen is furnished in a modern way - natural materials and clean lines dominate. For preparing food, you will have a ceramic hob, electric and microwave oven, combined refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker and there is also a dishwasher. Four bedrooms offer space for rest at night - all with a double bed, a single bed and a pull-out, full-size bed. To refresh yourself, you can use three bathrooms with toilets - one with a bathtub as part of the master bedroom, another with a shower, the third with a bathtub in the attic. Towels, bath towels and basic bathroom cosmetics are provided.

The exterior part is equipped with the same high quality as the interior. The terrace with comfortable seating invites you to have a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine at sunset. In your free time, you can cook a delicious pot stew smoked over a campfire or prepare juicy BBQ ribs. A bonus is the opportunity to relax in the Finnish sauna and heated bathtub. There is a swing and nice toys for the little ones. We will be happy to prepare a cot for you (on request, at no extra charge). Parking is provided right next to the cottage, so you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage. And finally, good news for dog lovers - you can bring your four-legged pet with you.

The surroundings offer many opportunities for active relaxation, hiking and peaceful walks. Krpáčovo is known for its clean air, dense forests, an interesting Disc-golf course and a lake where you can enjoy water sports and peaceful fishing. Plan a climb to Chopok, Dereše or visit the Bystrian Cave or the Metallurgical Open-Air Museum in Skalka. Children will enjoy the animals at Farm Dolinka and the attractions at the Mýto Ski & Bike Park. Tále offers fun at the golf course and climbing area Tarzania. Don't miss a trip to Čierny Balog, where the historic Čiernohronská Railway runs. In the winter months, you have a choice of several ski areas - try the tracks at Krpáčovo, Tále, Mýto pod Ďumbierom or the cross-country trails at Pohanske.
