Dolinka

Holiday home Dolinka is located in the quiet, picturesque village of Liptovské Revúce, in the Ružomberok district. Liptovské Revúce lies at the beginning of the Revúca valley, through which the Revúca river of the same name flows. The valley is oriented north-south, forming the border between the Low Tatras (left) and the Great Fatra (right). As the name of the holiday home suggests, it is located in the Hričkovská valley, at the beginning of the village, in the Nižná Revúca part. From it, a yellow tourist trail leads to Končitá, Malý Zvolen (1372 m) and further to Zvolen (1402 m) above Donovaly. Liptovské Revúce is a wonderful place whether you decide to have an active vacation (hiking, alpine skiing, cycling) or you plan to relax in a quiet environment with fresh air, beautiful views and spend time with your loved ones.

In Dolinka it is possible to accommodate one separate group all year round, while the capacity of the house is 11 beds including extra beds, plus 2 cots. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, large refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and table blender. A large dining table will ensure communal meals. There is also a children's dining chair available. The kitchen is connected to the living room, where you will find a spacious sofa bed, smart TV (Netflix, archive of programs of all TV stations) and a soundbar. Children will enjoy the children's corner with a kitchenette, a drawing table, lots of books, toys, workbooks, coloring books and various games.

On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a large wardrobe. There is also the possibility of setting up a travel cot. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. One is a double with a cot, where you will also find a spacious wardrobe and a mirror. The second bedroom is a quadruple bedroom. It has a double bed and a "house" bed with another pull-out bed. You will have no problem unpacking your suitcases in all rooms, because there is enough storage space. In the hallway there is another bed, a large wardrobe and there is also an exit to the balcony. The house has two bathrooms with a toilet, with the downstairs bathroom having a bathtub and the upstairs bathroom having a shower. In the bathrooms you will find towels, bath towels, basic hygiene items, and a hairdryer. There are steps, potties and a toilet seat for children. You will especially appreciate the washing machine for longer stays.

From the kitchen there is an entrance to the terrace with a small seating area. In the yard there is a spacious gazebo where you can relax, cook goulash or have a barbecue. Children will have fun in the yard. They have a trampoline, slide, swings, balance bikes, various games, chalk, badminton, balls. Children will really not be bored here. You also have a space to store skis and bicycles. In winter, you can find gliders, sleds, snow scooters, bobsleighs. If you are not sure whether your child can handle the walk, you will also find a sports stroller here. As for arriving and departing, we are willing to accommodate you as much as possible and everything is negotiable.

The surroundings are rich in exploring new places. Even before entering the village you can see the Ferrata Dve veže. This is the youngest via ferrata built in Slovakia and it is specifically 9 shorter via ferrata routes, which are not only for advanced climbers but also for beginners. 5 kilometers from the village is Liptovská Osada, through which the Cyklokorytnička runs. You can head towards Korytnica, where the cycle route ends, or head towards Ružomberok. The cycle route offers beautiful views, along the way you will find resting places with seating, wells with drinking water, fireplaces.

In Liptovská Osada there is a multifunctional Gothal area with many relaxation and sports activities. Another stop for you can be Donovaly, where the views and the whole day's program are taken care of. In Donovaly you will find the capital of children Donovalkovo, a bobsleigh track, trampolines, carousels, Myšiačik's children's park, the opportunity to rent electric scooters, try paragliding, take the cable car to the top of Nová Hole. It is also worth stopping at Staré Hory. They are considered the most visited pilgrimage site in central Slovakia. There is beautiful nature here and you can walk through the Magic Forest with children. In the forest you will discover various wooden animals, children's educational boards, a hidden dragon, a football field, a spacious gazebo.

You can try other great activities and visit exceptional places if you go further. Železnő and its surroundings offer many tourist destinations, Liptovská Lužná has a popular lookout tower, and Vlkolínec is definitely worth a visit. If you head towards Ružomberok, you can visit the Brankovsky waterfall, which is located in the village of Podsuchá. This is an easier hike for families with children. The waterfall is attractive both in summer and in winter, when it is frozen. In the Čutkovska Valley, children, in addition to simple hiking, will visit the popular Obrovo. In winter, Liptov is a famous location, the Malinô Brdo resort is nearby, but you also have the slopes in Donovaly, Dolny Kubín and Jasná nearby.

Liptovské Revúce has a wonderful location. You will find silence, peace, beautiful nature, wonderful air and there is really something to visit. You will leave us rich in experiences.
