The Veľká Javorina ski resort is a popular location for both beginners and advanced skiers. It is located on the hill of the same name near the village of Stará Turá. One of the oldest mountain huts in Slovakia is also located in its area — Holubyho chata.

Velká Javorina provides the opportunity to choose a slope according to your possibilities. All are served by lifts. In the surroundings of the center there are prepared cross-country tracks, which will be appreciated by fans of cross-country skiing.
