Chata Arónia

The newly renovated Arónia Cottage is located on a sunny fenced plot in the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the Orava countryside, in the village of Pokryváč. Orava is perfect for summer and winter holidays, and families with children, tourists, cyclists, athletes, seniors and skiers will all enjoy their stay here. If you need a break from everyday stress and work hustle and bustle, you've come to the right place! We believe that you will spend pleasant moments of leisure with your family and friends.

The cottage is here for you all year round, with a maximum capacity of 9 beds. If you come as a larger group with children, we will be happy to add two extra beds, which we recommend that children use. The sleeping area consists of two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and two single beds, the other with two single beds. In this second bedroom, there is an additional pull-out bed under both beds, both of which can serve as extra beds. In the living room there is a large sofa set, which can also be folded out and can sleep two more people. Another sofa set is also located in the kitchen.

The living room is equipped with a smart TV and Skylink internet television and Netflix, which can make your stay in our cottage more enjoyable in times of inclement weather. Alternatively, you can play board games that are available to you. The kitchen is equipped with a kitchen unit, which has a built-in dishwasher, as well as an electric kettle, microwave and electric stove. The bathroom has a sink, shower, toilet and washing machine.

In case of beautiful weather, you can spend your free time in the landscaped yard grilling, cooking goulash, relaxing or taking walks in the beautiful nature. The location of the Arónia Cottage is ideal for walks, hiking or cycling. Don't miss the Lúčanský waterfall in the village of Lúčky or natural swimming in the thermal spring in Kalameny. We also recommend visiting the Orava Castle, the Orava Gallery, the PO Hviezdoslav Museum, rafting, visiting Aquarelax Dolný Kubín, climbing Choč. In winter, you can ski in the Kubínska hoľa Ski Park or in Racibórz.
